AMG061F
The effectiveness of the green-reward system is improved by measuring the speed of vehicles ahead of the light. When a vehicle arrives too fast, the time to green is increased by an additional time to force the driver to stop at the light.
This speed control reinforces the pedagogical character of the system.
This radar is specially set up for a good operation of the reward light. Its high sensitivity allows a detection well beyond the “reward” zone, but also at the foot of the light.
Traffic management is carried out in the best possible way: turning green for vehicles arriving below the speed limit, detection of vehicles that have missed their green light or coming from nearby areas.
The radar can also indicate the presence of a vehicle in the area to prevent a lane exit.

AMG043-013
Checking a radar requires a lot of measuring equipment. Radars are more and more complex and efficient, basic simulators are no longer able to deceive them.
At the request of its customers, AMG has developed a real tool for verifying and controlling the performance of radars that operate at 24GHz.
AMG043-0013 radar tester checks radar frequency, power, sensitivity. Test sequences can be programmed in the laboratory and then they can be replayed in the field. The great dynamics of operation, makes it possible to carry out tests at several meters. The significant autonomy and their recharging via the USB connector ensure use without surprises.
The AMG043-013 is the essential tool in all phases of the life of 24GHz radar equipment: design, manufacture, installation and maintenance!
A complex sequence of speeds can be programmed using a computer.
This sequence can be replayed on demand.

AMG061-002
The AMG061-002 is a compact Doppler radar which operates in the 24 GHz K-band. It is a low-power sensor designed to offer exceptional detection performance and versatility for diverse traffic management applications.
This cost-effective sensor is well suited for battery and solar-powered uses. It has a fast-sleep/fast-wakeup function that allows two different radar processing consumption modes. One with a current of 89mA (@ 12V) when targets are detected and speed/distance measurements are carried out and, the other drawing 29mA (@ 12V) when there are no Doppler signals received which ensures low power consumption overall
Installation recommendations
This sensor should be installed at an angle, or a field of view to the road, of < 10° for speed measurements with less than 2% error. Installation at an angle of > 45° can result in speed measurements with low accuracy.
The thinner the beamwidth is in the target moving plan, the more accurate the speed measurement is. Hence, to ensure accurate speed detection, place the wide side of the sensor horizontally for detection from the side of the road. For detection from above, place the wide side of the sensor vertically.

AMG049-003
The AMG049-003 is ideal for measuring speed with minimal energy consumption. It is a compact, cost-effective and versatile Doppler sensor working in the 24 GHz frequency band which can be easily integrated into vehicle activated displays, traffic counting units or speed performance measuring systems.
This reference is very well suited to both battery and solar-powered uses. Its unique radar signal processing design ensures outstanding detection performance and sensitivity at a very low current (13mA @ 12V), while also making unnecessary to program stand-by cycles to ensure low-power consumption throughout.
Like all sensors in our catalogue, the AMG049-003 is available as OEM part or enclosed in a polycarbonate cover.

AMG043-010
The AMG043-010 is an advanced radar target simulator designed to recreate precise and complex speed simulation scenarios for radar equipment in the 24 GHz band. This device can generate electronic echoes from 2.5m to 250m. These echoes can be static or move with speeds between 0.1 km/h to 800 km/h.
Its easy to handle set-up software allows users to create multiple simulation scenarios such as acceleration and deceleration manouvres, as well as recall those parameters already registered countless times. This RTS is the ideal tool to develop radar equipment and to verify the latest generation of speed enforcement radars (multi-lane, target tracking).

AMG043-006B
The RTS AMG043-006B creates a calibrated echo at a given distance for a programmable rate. The response is continuous or pulsed at a rate of 3 s ON and 3 s OFF.
The 12 V powered version can be supplied as a stand-alone unit in a carrying case for installation checks.
The AMG043-006B simulator generates a delayed Doppler signal. The signal amplitude is fixed, the Doppler frequency is programmable in steps of 1Hz up to 30kHz. Setting up the simulation parameters is done with a computer using the easy to handle software provided with the device.
The distance is simulated by a coaxial delay line of 10m. The Radio Cross Section (RCS) can be calculated by using the technical characteristics of the simulator and the mesuring distance, as follows:
Ds: distance between the simulator and the radar (m)
Dr: distance between the radar and the target (m)
Lambda: wavelength (m)
Sigma: RCS (m2)
Gse: radar emission antenna gain
Gsr: radar reception atenna gain
Gs: simulator gain including cable losses
